Senior Scholarships

Information

The Clear Creek Community Council of PTAs awards 2 (two) $500 scholarships to graduates of the following CCISD schools- Clear Creek, Clear Lake, Clear Brook, Clear Springs, and Clear Falls. In addition, 1 (one) $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduate from the following school communities- Clear Horizons, Clear View, or Santa Fe ISD

*Participating schools MUST have paid their CCCC of PTAs dues for the current school year.

Selection of scholarship winners will be made by CCCC of PTAs Scholarship Committee. Recipients will be notified via email to the student before the senior recognition ceremonies in May.

Eligibility Requirements

  

o Graduating seniors from a CCISD high school- Clear Creek High School, Clear Lake High School, Clear Brook High School, Clear Springs High School, Clear Falls High School 

-OR-

o Graduating seniors from the following school communities- Clear Horizons High School, Clear View High School, SFISD schools zoned to Santa Fe High School. Applicants from this group will be considered for the Community Scholarship. 

o Applicants MUST join their respective high school PTA (PTSA) on/before the scholarship due date to be considered. Membership will be verified. *NOTE- applicants from the school communities listed above MUST join their zoned high school PTA (PTSA) OR SEPTA. Membership will be verified. 

o Plan to be enrolled full-time in an accredited college, university, or technical institute by May 30th following the applicant’s graduation year. For example- a 2026 senior must enroll by May 30, 2027.

o Have a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a weighted scale.

Instruction for Application- ***Link will be shared in March***

  

  1. Complete ALL portions of the application carefully. Please print all information- typed or in black ink. 
  2. An essay, 300 word minimum, that includes the following points: 

  • Future goals relating to education and/or career
  • How PTA has impacted the applicant’s education
  • How parent, teacher, family or community member involvement has impacted the applicant’s education

  1. Submit a copy of the senior mid year transcript from Skyward
  2. Submit 1 recommendation letter from someone that knows you best. This person could be a teacher, coach, mentor, pastor, etc. Return the recommendation attached to this Google Doc or email to scholarships@ccccptas.org
  3. Return completed scholarship application packet (5 pgs) via this Google Doc -OR-      emailed with all proper documentation to scholarships@ccccptas.org *If you need assistance with the delivery of your application, please contact the scholarship chair at the above address.
  4. **Please note that late and incomplete applications will not be considered. Be sure to follow all instructions. Proofread your application carefully before submitting.**
